Before you call

The questions the Euless office answers most days.

If yours is not here, the shop is open Mon-Fri 7am-4pm and a licensed electrician will answer it on the phone without charging for the conversation.

Four things that mean stop using the circuit and call

  • A burning smell anywhere near an outlet, switch or panel
  • An outlet or cover plate that is warm to the touch
  • Scorch marks or discolouration around a receptacle
  • A breaker that trips again the moment it is reset

All four are symptoms of heat, which means current is crossing a gap it was never meant to cross. Resetting a breaker repeatedly asks a safety device to stay quiet about a fault that is still there.

Everything else

We start with a hands on evaluation of the affected components, looking at load demand, the condition of the wiring and whether it still meets code. If a repair is safe and practical, that is what we quote. We do not recommend an upgrade a panel does not need.

Breakers that trip again and again, lights that flicker, outlets that feel warm to the touch, and any burning smell. A burning smell or a warm outlet means stop using the circuit and call us that day.

Yes. A lot of our commercial calls are older northeast Tarrant County buildings with outdated wiring or panels that were never sized for what the tenant runs today.

They work hand in hand but they are distinct services. We use an inspection to find the specific problems, then lay out the repair options so you can decide what gets done and in what order.

We plan the work around how the business actually runs, coordinate the schedule ahead of time, isolate the affected circuits rather than killing the building, and keep the interruption as short as the work allows.

Every repair we finish follows the applicable local and national electrical codes. The work is done by or under a licensed Master Electrician, TMEL#26724.

Seniors and military get 5 percent off, and most of our work is quoted free before anything starts.

Still not sure what it is doing?

Describe it and we will tell you whether it needs an electrician today or can wait for a scheduled visit.
